Real Work At Home Jobs

The Real Truth about Work At Home Jobs -

The Real Truth about Working at Home! - According to the latest statistics, an estimated 170 million employed persons would prefer to work from home. That number represents 85% of the American work force!

One of the most potent forces behind the increase in work from home opportunities is the growing number of small businesses. Many small businesses can not afford to hire employees and are turning instead to contracted laborers. Please read on...

Telecommuting to Work From Home -

Telecommuting to Work from Home
Some large companies offer the option of telecommuting, and there is little
doubt that more will do so in the near future. However, telecommuting opportunities represent only a part of the work-from-home field at this time. The reason is that a lot of the telecommuting job opportunities are offered in-house. Companies want to place their most experienced and dependable people at home. However, this does not mean that there are not telecommuting jobs available for many people wanting to work at home. There are jobs that are considered telecommuting jobs available for qualified people that are serious about working at home.

When I say qualified, I am speaking of qualification for the position(s) that the company may have listed. These type telecommute work at home job positions are not going to be sitting on your couch stuffing envelopes! Those type jobs are 99% of the time scams!

Most telecommute type positions are going to be entering information into a database, spreadsheet, or typing up documents or reports into a word processor such as MS Word.

Real Work From Home Opportunities -

Real Work-from-Home Opportunities

Contracted labor is the fastest growing area of real work-from-home
opportunities.

A contracted laborer is actually self-employed, and the most powerful
motivation for a company to use contracted labor is the tremendous savings
in overhead.
Some of the expenses a company can save include social security and other
payroll taxes, bookkeeping and accounting expenses, workman's compensation, sick leave, holiday and vacation pay, health and life insurance, liability insurance, equipment, furnishings and supply costs, and many square feet of office space.

They also save on the hardware and software because the self-contractor that works at home in most cases would have their own computer and software to get the work from home job done. Any company, especially a small business, comes out ahead if they can hire contracted labor. Considering the hundreds of thousands of dollars raked in each year by work-from-home scams, you would think a company could easily find eager and reliable contracted laborers. But you would be mistaken.

Finding People to Work From Home -

Finding People to Work from Home

I have worked from home for many years - both as a telecommuter and a contracted laborer. Many times I have been asked - sometimes in tones of desperation - if I know another at-home worker who is reliable, who would also be reliable to work from home.

If you want to work from home, I can help you. You have to be serious about wanting to work at home. The reason it is hard for companies to find qualified people to work at home is because the majority of those wanting to "work at home" think of it as a job they can work for 10 or so hours a week while sitting in front of the TV and make money.

This causes people to not get their job done as well as when they find out they really will have to put some hours into doing the "real work" they end up not sticking to it. Many can not set their own schedule to get a job done by a dead line and therefore their job does not last long.

A company that is willing to hire you to work from home will expect you to be professional in your work and to get your work done on time!

If you are serious about wanting to really work at home we can help! Please, if you do not plan on putting as much into your work from home job as much if not more than you would a job in an office then you may want to reconsider working at home.

Is Work From Home Right For You -

Is Work from Home Right for You?

Let me begin by telling you, before you even reach for your wallet, that there are no work-from-home opportunities I am aware of that do not require some type of skill and some amount of effort. The key word in "work from home" is "work". If you aren't willing to work and have no skills to offer, you are unemployable - at home or any place else.

I am not trying to be rude, just up front and honest with you. Furthermore, just like in the outside work force, your paycheck will reflect your skills and effort. Higher skills and more effort result in higher pay for work from home, just as they do for work at the office.

Also, I want to be very clear about this: I cannot provide you with a job.

I can give you the real information you need in order to get a work from home job - actual job listings and other information - but you have to make the effort to land the job yourself, by yourself, on your own. Frankly, if you aren't comfortable with that thought, you are probably not someone who can work successfully without supervision.
And there are other considerations you ought to give some thought to before you part with your membership fee.

As I said, I have worked from home for a long time. During that time, I've heard a lot of people express envy for my position. Well, it isn't all peaches-and-cream. It can get lonely. You can get cabin-fever when you work, eat and sleep in the same place. Yes, it's fun to work in your nightie and house slippers for awhile, but eventually you long to - horrors! - put on a suit and tie. You don't have anyone to gossip with; you've lost a significant source for meeting people and making friends.

You don't have someone to answer a quick question of. You're completely on your own, and you'll be happiest if you are already a bit of a loner. If you need people around you, you'll soon be miserable. The other big issue is self-discipline. If you are an adult, you already know whether you are self-directed and self-motivated. If you look to others to inspire you, or you work because someone is looking over your shoulder - forget it. Go back to the office. You won't get a paycheck if you goof off while working from home.

Have I talked you out of this yet?

You may think this is a pretty strange way to sell something, and as a matter of fact, I do, too! But there has been enough nonsense and too many scams regarding work from home on the Internet and in newspapers. The truth is that yes, the opportunities are there and in fact, they are plentiful. But you aren't going to make a fortune by assembling toys or stuffing envelopes while you sit in front of the television set.

Would you like to know what companies really pay people to stuff envelopes? $20 per thousand. Think about it. Most of those types of opportunities are pyramid schemes.

After all the negativity, let me end by saying this: I would never entertain the notion of working anywhere except in the comfort of my own home. I work hard and I pride myself on providing more than expected. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and think that's the way everyone should be. In return, I never have to worry about being out of work, fighting rush hour traffic, dealing with office politics, having someone looking over my shoulder, having someone else take credit for my work, or spending money on work clothes when I'd rather blow it on movies.

I enjoy a very high level of job security, due to the fact that employers know they can't easily find another home worker who is as competent and reliable. I make more money than I would as a traditional employee, because employers can put money into my paycheck instead of employee overhead. And I know that if I lost my current job tomorrow, I wouldn't be out of work more than a week. In today's job market, that is real security!

Working at home is great and if you're still with me at this point, I can say,
with a fair amount of confidence, you're going to love it!
